Frequently asked

  • I travel on the standard 90 day very 180 days rule. As it stands, I am not planning on changing my visa status. It is big subject and worthy of a discussion to explain my findings and how these probably also relate to you.

  • The shape, style, location of my little house is quite unique to this area. There are not many single story houses with land in Le Marche. Trawling the property sites and being really ready to buy will help the agents take you seriously. They get swamped with window shoppers so bear that in mind.

    Or, make me an offer I cannot refuse.

  • Elena from ABITOCase was very helpful and has some fantastic properties in Le Marche showcased on her website.

    Properties like mine are not always shown online and property agents are not typically property finders that do the hunting for you. There are many people provide a 'finder’ service but check how they get paid first. You want them on your side, not chasing a sales commission.

  • I opened a bank in my local town (you will need a codice fiscale). The bank’s mobile app and website are fantastic and easy to use. All bills are paid from my Italian bank account direct to the utility companies and paid by me via their websites. They email me the bill reminders. Simple.

  • The beauty of Italy is that I have found that most people are patient and respect that you are trying. I have struggled to learn, being honest, but am trying a varity of methods. Apps, books, YouTube, Movies, Podcasts, Italian Radio…I plan on vlogging this journey soon.

  • Contact me via email or DM on Instagram. I try reply to every message as promptly as I can and am happy to take the odd question. Time is precious - I am sure you understand. My YT videos, newletter, guide and 1:1 calls cover all questions and tips I share about Italy.
